The perfect wedding at Le Westin Montreal is between 150 to 170 people for hosting the ceremony, cocktails and reception all on the same floor. The hall comes with the catering, staff, setup of the tables, stage for the DJ and dance floor. Audio/Visual, decoration and DJ service are an additional charge and managed by the couple.
Couples can also book their own furniture but Le Westin does provide tables, tablecloths, chairs, napkins, dishes, printed menus, silver number stands and table numbers. You also have the option to work with some Le Westin preferred suppliers.
All wedding packages include use of the reception hall, four hours open bar, hors-d’oeuvre’s during cocktails, sparkling wine for the Bride & Groom toast, a four course meal and a half bottle of wine per person with the meal. The packages range from $143 to $220 per person with midnight and sweet table options and you and your guests will enjoy a selection of fine cuisine including grain fed chicken breasts stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes, salmon filet unilateral cooked, Canadian Angus filet mignon or poached lobster tail and grilled filet of Canadian beef.
THE DESTINATION BRIDE & GROOM
Special room rates are offered for out-of-town guests but are based on availability and occupancy of the hotel. An open block of rooms is setup for those guests coming from out of town and Le Westin provides the Bride and Groom with a website where the invitees can book their guestroom directly. The preferred rate for the wedding is already pre-populated which eliminates the stress of handling room bookings on your own.
The day after the wedding, your guests can enjoy all Montreal has to offer by exploring some major attractions in close proximity to the hotel including the Notre-Dame Basilica, a stunning church with sculpted wood interior, starry-night ceiling and an array of stained glass windows. The Old Port is a short walk away with 1.6 miles of strolling pleasure and a variety of outdoor activities including an urban beach, cruises, excursions, fishing, pedal boating and more. For guests who love shopping among the hustle and bustle, head over to Sainte-Catherine street which is lined with major department stores, shops and restaurants.
FOR THE NEWLYWEDS
Le Westin Montreal offers one complimentary night for newlyweds in a traditional room with upgrade to a Deluxe suite upon availability. The newlyweds can also enjoy in-room dining or head to the restaurant for an American buffet breakfast.
